Batman gets my vote for the battle between Cap and Bats. Why? Simply because he can, that's why!!!
Really, Bats has got the brains, fighting skills, and gadgets to use at his disposal. Cap has got the martial arts skills, fighting skills, and his trustworthy shield. It will be a close one but Bats will come out on top.

If it was strictly hand-to-hand combat, I think Cap would win. But with all the gadgets at his disposal, Bats would prevail. Yeah, it would come down to Bats' utility belt vs Cap's shield. Score one for the utility belt.

Just to keep it fair, we will substitute a two-eyed Nick Fury as the new CAP -- only Nick clones have ever taken lethal damage so far. A Fury Cap outfitted with SHIELD gadgetry to match Batman's Utility Belt and I would have to say Captain America.

Steve Rodgers is moving on to star in the new Marv Wolfman retro comic remake of Dead Man from National Lampoon. "Stiffening his resolve (and most of the rest of him) Deadman stands firm against the macinations of the Beatle and soil erosion."

At least Bucky has someone to hero worship in the afterlife. Wait, is Bucky still dead?

Question: Exactly what martial arts training did Steven Rogers receive and from where/whom. Bruce was trained by actual Ninjas and Sensei's in MANY forms of combat...did Steve just get basic training in the army?? Or did shield help him out too?? I know people like Hawkeye got training from Cap but I'm a little foggy on his credentials for being a teacher (and yes I know he can whip most peoples butts).

Batman would outwit that sap Captain America. Bats would use his knowledge of judo to tie Cap up in knots despite Cap's artificially augmented strength.

I say Captain America one on one with no weapons, he is stronger.
Any other scenario Batman would win - he fights dirtier.
