Why So Darn Slow?

Is anyone else having trouble with the Corral being so SLOW? At first I thought it might be from my end but I went in and clean out my temp. files, etc and I'm surfing the net to everywhere else super fast (I have DSL) just not the corral.

It has taken more than 10 mins just to read and post to two or three threads. What gives?

Plus it keeps kicking me out of the Corral. I'm signing in and it is showing Welcome, fulltimer56 then when I go to post it comes back with an error said I can't do that and to retry again and sign in.

Hi Linda and everyone. I have noticed the slowness today and I am looking into the causes.

This should not be happening at all with the new server. I can't do anything until I get homw though, so please bear with me. :)

Yes, it has been slow for me. Everything else on the net is superfast except for the Corral. Hope everything works out right with the server.

I think it is is the the sloth you have working at the switchboard. I know he has been with your company for a very long time but you need to up grade to a humming bird or something. Just offer the sloth a good retirement package.

Yeah, thanks to the animal employment activists, I cannot force the Sloth into retirement. I tried to force him out by cutting his break times in half, but now he is just sitting at his desk sulking.

On another note, the site speed appears to be back to normal again. Please let me know if the problem resurfaces!

damn AEA folks! To be honest I hadn't really noticed it all that much except this morning. I had my torrent client stealing most of my bandwidth last night at home and I don't think anything seemed too out of the ordinary at work since initial loading of the site seems to be a bit slow at times. Once on the site though most of the time the speeds are much better.

I greatly appreciate how quickly you respond to site problems. Other than the mysterious disappearance a few weeks ago you keep us notified of upcoming changes or rectify problems quickly. Keep up the great work!!
