Here are a few of the items I am currently completing:
-- Add original Comics Corral smilies :)
-- "Karma" system
-- Quick Reply Button
-- Forum Date and Time correction
Please post any other requests/suggestions here if you have any. Also, please feel free to critique the board and the current features. I'm all ears!
I am trying out "Corral Cash". This new system will replace the old Karma Points system. You gotta work for this cash! You get cash for posting new threads (.50), replying (.10). The moderators can also give Corral Cash for winning games and other reasons.
You will be able to use this "money" to buy comics from the Corral Cash Catalogue! (Yes, Stu your comics are finally going up on the block!)
We will still have auctions for comics and more.
Get posting to earn those Corral Cash bucks!
Here are the features of the CorralCash currency.
1) You get cash for starting new threads (.25)
2) You get .(10) for replying.
3) Moderators can award CorralCash in any amount.
4) Members may donate cash to each other!
5) There is a limit on how much total cash you can earn within a 24 hour period! This doesn't include Corral Cash awarded by moderators.
6) Keep in mind this is not REAL Cash!
7) I will be adding more CorralCash compatible add ons as I can!
8) At this time it is not possible to carry a negative balance on your CorralCash account. (Goodbye Smites!)
9) The OFF TOPIC area doesn't earn CorralCash!

That's not fair, Hoss! I can see not in the Fun & Games but the "Entertainment and Diversions" section will have stuff to do with comics, etc!

You may want to adjust the size of the Corral logo (make it a little smaller). It's stretching out the page. On this end at least.

How about transferring karma into Corral Cash. I mean, if you're going to Italy, then you need to convert your hard earned dollars into lira, or is it euro over there? Get my drift?

What's a Corral Catalogue??? Listings for Cow Chips fer flingin' and tongue-searing chili. My copy of the Hannibal Lecter Cookbook does have an extensive whine list and a recipe for Texas Chili, with Cowboy.

OK gang,
Here is the scoop on the the New CorralCash and old Corral Karma.
I have decided not to carry over or convert any previously earned Karma. I'm not trying to be mean about this, but I simply don't have the time to complete the error corrections on the new board and work my regular full time job AND spend time with my family. Converting all of the karma over to CC will be too time consuming for me to handle. I am really sorry.
Your CorralCash will accumulate quickly with posting and winning games.
I have also decided to keep the Off Topic Area CorralCash free. yes there is lot's of posting there, but I think that since we are primarily a comic book forum, the Corral Cash will be better if it is doled out there. Keep in mind there are games in the Off Topic Area which have CC as prizes! It think it works out really good all around.
I hope you can all understand this decision.

Can we fix the house date and time on here? It is showing Iraqi time or something right now.
You can change it in your user preferences. The baseline is GMT and go from there. For example, central time is -5 hours.

The reason the box on the side was so big was because hank had an image in his that was too big and what Hoss did was make it smaller!! Hope that makes since to you!!

if you had deleted your files and cookies, exactly what is it doing now? Did you deleted from the browser you're using now and the IE also, if not on the IE, then you must delete that, too. It works for me after doing it. At first my AOL browser was cleared, I had the same problem, I thought about the IE, tried that, it works so far.

I just use IE. It worked fine for about 3 weeks and even earlier today, but when I tried to log-in later it just kept bringing up the same log-in screen. The only way to fix it was to delete my IE temp files and cookies (which doesn't take much time but does disrupt some other stuff I do daily). After that, I got in just fine.
Now you can upload images directly to imageshack when posting a new topic or replying to a thread!

Just added "view topics since last visit" modification. That feature is on the top of the main page on the right hand side of the page! This will come in handy for a lot of you!

Alrighty! The newest mod is a fix for the pop up notifications when you have a new personal message. Most browsers don't like the window and will try and close it. this new change makes the window into a dialog box.
