and what do you think of it? I have been just leafing through mine but I'm in the middle of reading the Supergirl story in the back of it.

I'm not a Perez fan but I'm even less of a Thor fan so I too picked up the WW cover, Linda!

I'm a tad peeved that they didn't include the grading pages in this edition.

It's getting less and less imperative to buy an OPG every year, isn't it? I am still protesting the move down to NM- 9.2 as the top grade in the guide and I think I'll skip buying the OPG this year. It pains me not to have my spreadsheet right up to date, but the changes in the OPG pain me even more. I'll probably just check out the prices for a couple of key series and write them down as I drink my $5 caramel mocha at Barnes & Noble sometime soon.

Gallinator,

If you need any prices just let me know and I'll look them up for you. Of course it might take a bit to do it since I will be leaving tomorrow to go to MO for my nephews Grad from high school on Friday (don't worry I'll be seeing the new X-Men movie on Friday too)

Well, GALLINATOR, you can read all about how our very own Sudbury Wolves picked up their second, and reportedly best (?), Staal brother for next season.
Whoo-hoo!!!
First we snagged Marc, now we have Jared.

It was Brother vs. Brother in the OHL playoffs last month where Marc's brother Jordan and his Peterborough Petes kicked Marc and the Sudbury Wolves out of the play-offs.

The Petes are now in the Memorial Cup.
Ah, Marc and Jared will beat them next year (don't I sound like a typical Leafs' fan now? Ugh!).

And of course, Eric Staal helped to eliminate my beloved Habs from the play-offs in NHL action.

Man, I can't believe how badly my Devils got creamed. That was just ugly.

So, could the Oilers be set to take another one, behind the insane goaltending of Rolo-Cop? Holy cow!

Well it sure looks that way.
They are winning 3-0 right now with a two-man advantage.
Oh make that 4-0, how about that Pronger?

Who would'a thunk that 8th place Edmonton in the West would win the West?
Although they haven't won yet, they will be up 3 games to 0 after tonight, throwing up a healthy serving of roasted Anaheim Duck.

I still say Buffalo can pull off a series win against Carolina.
I'd love to see Buffalo and Edmonton in the Stanley Cup finals....two teams with no real super-stars.

How are the Canes doing so far? That being the Canes are like 40 mins. from my house.

Hmmmm....hockey?......Isn't that the game where a bunch of toothless guys skate around beating their sticks on the ice??

The Canes and Sabres are tied a game apiece in the Eastern Conference final.

What the....?
It's now 4-3 for Edmonton.
Anaheim scored 3 goals in a row.
Holy crap!
8 minutes left, this is a game again.
Do you have easy access to the NHL Playoffs in the USA?
Can you find this game on TV right now?

Hey Marvelguy.
I was in Asheville on business last April which isn't too far from Raleigh.
How close to Asheville are you?
