Maybe I can swap a few Silver Age gems for this one:

CGC or not, restored or not, pressed or not, Denver or Ashtabula, this is one hell of a Holy Grail.
Look and drool...

SO sad! I turned one of these down in 1967 just because it was very good. Guy was firm at $5,000.00. Course that was about 1/3rd of a house back then!

Still now, it is 1/3 of the house today in LA, huh? A house over there goes for a million dollars, right?

A million for a house?
You've gotta be kidding!
I paid $140,000 CDN for a beautiful 4-bedroom home, 2 baths, hardwood floors throughout the main floor, 20' x 40' in-ground swimming pool, large sauna/changeroom beside pool, huge backyard with a garden behind the pool which is also in the backyard and a good size storage shed.
This was in one of more prestigious areas of town about 6 years ago.
Mind you, I only lived in it for 6 weeks..then my wife at the time and I went Splits-ville.
A million bucks....wow.....
