Scarcely & rarely does Fast Willie Jackson appear on ebay.

The run is scarce. Some issue numbers are rare.

Is this guy the black Archie? Art says so.

Averaging $10.

Any trickle down to other oddball, black titles like
King Feature Syndicate's Quincy?
Not newspaper reprints. New comic stories of Li'l Kids.

I happen to have it for sale.

QUINCY
King Comics (King Features Syndicate), 1973
#R-05, NM, Henry back-up story
........Little Guy back-up story

I think I've figured out the first re-appearance of a black man on a comic cover in the 1960's.
Something like Young Love from 1968. Only a very predominate black man looking out from the page.
He had no link to the story. It was a U.N. cover so . . .
Actually, he seems lost, like an African Minister of . . . whatever. Emissary to the U.N. Legation on Pazzuzzu, I don't know.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Was there a Dell/Four Color TV comic ofDiahann Carroll's
Single Mother Show? First Black photo cover of the sixties?
Sidney Poitier.?

DC had a black woman telling it like it is as the Agony Columnist in the early seventies.

I have a list of about 10 fictional Love Advice Specialists, most of which were made up from the ranks of the female employees on staff. Smart little numbers from one of the Seven Sisters, Asst Editors & Secretaries. Perhaps someone from the steno pool over from accounting?

I think the FF Black Panther intro is a guy in a mask. No brown skin.

ERRRRRRRRRRRR!!

Technical - Judges?

eeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

non-superhero, (normal) brown man is what we were looking for.

Would have settled for non-white.

First Latino cover - early bronze Young Romance

They had trouble at the printers doing off-white skin repro
It came out grey skin through-out the story. Yuck.

Great cover, though.
