Hi all,
Just wanted to see if anyone here is going to this year's WWC. I just bought my tickets and I am all set to go. This will be my fouth consecutive year going. I see that Habib went last year, and did pretty well. I go mainly to meet the creators and pick up goodies. This year looks like I will be trying to buy more than trying to get signatures. Every year has been great so far, so hope to see others there.

Hey MC&C!!
Yep Habib is going again this year! That makes 20+ years in a row going back to the old Chicago Comic Con days. The last dozen or so have been setting up as a dealer.
Come see us at booth 1810! (theoretically that's where I'll be when I am not roaming the room for good deals!)

I'll have to see, I'd sure like to. We have lots of weddings this year, it'll depend on the dates. I've got a very high grade GS X-Men #1 I'd like to get slabbed. It should pay for itself if I decide to sell.

I do have 2 1/2 boxes of Charltons I take to shows but do to space limitations at WW Chicago......I may have to leave those at the storage unit. I will be evaluating the situation this week.......

Charleston? Is that a new pedigree? I'm really surprised a collection survived there; I thought Charleston was too close to the ocean for comics. Now Denver's high, dry climate, that's great for comics. But ocean air?

I am very excited because I will be on my way to WWC in the morning. This year I have to go on Sunday because of my conflicting schedule. I'm ready to spend some money and enjoy the experience of a great comic convention. Can't wait to check out Habib's booth. I let you guys that aren't able to go know how it went.

Mike it was great meeting you at WWC!!
Sorry we didn't have more time to chat (running a booth with that much product is a pain!).
Near the end of the show while we got real busy and distracted a guy walked off with around $300-400 of SA Avengers. :x
I will try to scan and post some of my cool purchases from the set-up/preview day when I can get away from our booth easier.

It was good to meet you too, Mark.
Sorry about your loss, it sucks that people can't be honest. When I get my collection organized we can talk about the books I'm still looking for.
Overall, I had a great time and I too will post some pics from WWC.

Here are some of my pics, I didn't take as many as I usually do, since I was busy shopping and waiting in line to get a couple autographs.

Oh, I almost fogot I also had one of my comics graded at the convention. I wasn't too disappointed with the grade. I have a crappy scanner, so I had to take a picture of the book, which has a slight glare from the flash.
I really like this cover.

That's a nice Wally Wood cover. Kinda reminds me of Hal Foster's Prince Valiant. I'm sorry to hear you got ripped off. That really sucks.
