That IS nice, CG. And it's the kind of 6.5 that has excellent eye-appeal. No creases, tears, or excessive spine stressing. It's graded 6.5 mostly on the weight of the spine corner chips.

That cover would have eye appeal if it was run over by a truck.

There's no beating the early Kirby/Simon stuff.

The 40s Kirby covers are in a class by themselves! Neither Joe Simon, nor Syd Shores, as good as they were and in a Kirbyesue style, came close to capturing that "super-cinematic quality" innately imparted on all of Kirby's panels. Those first 10 issues of Cap and Red Raven are especially magnificent by any artistic standards.
