I plan on re-opening my ebay store soon and had a few questions. I've been using Turbo Lister for my auction listings and find it faster and easier for me. Can I create store listings in Turbo Lister? If I can, will it allow me to dump the items into the specific catagories? I plan on selling comics, but also a lot of other things (diecast, sports cards, Hallmark ornaments, etc). Each having separate catagories of course. So if I was to create 100 store listings with Turbo Lister and say 50 of them were diecast, 25 DC Comics, and 25 Marvel comics, would it allow me to place the listings in the proper catagories?

Also, what do folks think of pics? I know I'll be adding pictures to every listing, but I'm wondering if I should post a regular size scan on the lisitng itself, or include a clickable thumbnail? Thumbnails would make the page load faster, but would force the buyer to make an "extra" click or two. Does anyone think this would bother people? I would hate to lose business for this, when posting a larger scan is just as easy.

Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated!

Hey SP,

You can use TL to create store listings. You can also put the items into any custom categories you create. The only thing is that you have to create the categories in advance (on ebay "Manage My Store") and then update TL. It's a pretty straight forward process.

As far as the auction images, I am on the fence on that one. I did have clickable thumbnails at first, but I have recently switched back to in auction images. I dunno which is better, but it's just faster for me to create the listings without the thumbs (a few less clicks for me lol).

Good luck with your store!

Personally, I think a faster load time is probably better as long as the "thumbnail" is still 400x400 or something like that (not too small, I mean). I'd assume that anybody interested enough in the comic and/or its condition would be happy to click for a larger image.
