Just stopping by for my once a month visit (at least that's what it seems like to me).
LOVE the new place, it will take some getting used to. Man I miss my karma  , but I was missing you guys more.
Warning... major venting: I'm looking for a new job AGAIN (at least I'm being smart this time and keeping my crappy one until I get a new one). After being told through the grapevine that I was going to be chosen as the boss of my department (that sounds more important then head housekeeper right?), they hire some old lazy wench to do it (I even had to train her myself!). Well, that was two months ago, and I've hung on that long, but with all her changes (like her now having the right to make my life a living hell, even outside of work), I'm done with it. I could go on and on about it, but I won't other then to say I got written up yesterday for telling her I couldn't work on the last day off I had... Grrrr...
Sorry for being very absent, I'm hoping things get better at work so I can acutally have a life, and visit with you guys.
On a happy note... I'm still without a car, and have now lost 16 pounds from biking and walking everywhere (not to mention how much $$$ I've saved on gas also). I should have a set of wheels by the end of this month though, Yeeaahh! It has been quite an adventure sometimes, like yesterday when I had to ride my bike in a thunderstorm. :?
Oh, have I mentioned how much I miss you guys? Hope everyone is doing well.
I have to get ready for work now, hope to sneak back in here now and again soon.

Hi Kiddo,
Just think how good you are going to feel when you tell that "B*TCH" off on your last day of work when you get your new job!! Believe me it will make it worth it!!
I remember having the male version of a "B*TCH" at one of my jobs and when I got finished with him on my last day, he didn't know which end was up. It takes alot to get me mad but boy when I do I can let it out really, really good!!
When you quit there do they give you a comment card to fill out to ask you why you quit or anything like that? If so make sure to list all the stuff about the lazy "B*TCH" and what you think of them!!
You will FEEL SO GOOD when you do!!!

CCN is back On-Board!
As the biggest Karma Winner in the Ol' Corral (thanks to that HUGE allotment of Parsnip Karma) and thus one of the biggest losers when we moved to these new digs, it is my honor to bestow $25.00 in Corral Cash upon you as the winner of the Charlton Baby Pool Contest! (See Games Area for details).
And please, post more often than once a month...
Welcome back!
Welcome back CCN! It's always nice to see you around! Have fun on the new board!

Awww... Thanks for the welcome back everyone.
Linda, no comment cards, boy I wish there were, but I'll try to think of something evil for my last day.
CG, I won that thing?! Thanks! I'll have to go check it out. Now, we all know I'm one of the biggest losers, but did you have to actually say it? :P
I'll try to stop in here more often (so I can actually have some fun), probably before I go to work in the morning, even if it means getting up earlier.

Welcome back CNN, we've missed ya!
I've sent you my corral cash as a welcome back present.
Good luck with the job search. Don't waste too much of your emotional energy on a bad boss. It's not worth it and will only bring you down.
Focus on the positive and move forward!
We're all pulling for ya here.

I agree with Chaosus, that's a wise advice.

What they said....make your own way...go with your strengths and loves. I just got a job delivering pizza and if you can believe it I make on the average 16.50 an hour - $7.60 an hour + 2 bucks gas EVERY trip I make + tips. I don't know how it works in the States but if you can get them to give you a gas allowence it's totally worth it. (plus i get free and cheap pizza, wings, subs, salads etc.) Just keep up your spirits and don't let any job drag you down or change you. Glad you're back, Stace and I missed you too!

Thanks, Chaos, you didn't have to do that, but it will be much enjoyed.
Very good advice about the bad boss, who decided to leave me alone early today so she could go to a party. Maybe I should have a write up form waiting for her on her desk tomorrow. Hmm... think positive... At least I got more hours in then her today.
Hank, funny you should mention being a pizza delivery driver, I was one too. Well actually I was a Pizza Hut Shift Manager who delivered and waited tables. I made $7.50 an hour, $1 per trip, and tips. The best paying job I've ever had, would love to have it back (if I could find reliable wheels).
I just found out there's a local job fair on Tuesday, and Pizza Hut and many other places are going to be there. Gotta dust off that old resume tonight so I can go. I had already asked for that day off of work because it's the kids' last day of school, so this is perfect. :)

LOL! That's NOT what I meant!
You are pure winner all the way in this joint.
Congratulations again! And Elizabeth says "hi"!
(Actually, she mostly says, "Wahhh! Wahhh! Wahhh! Wahhh!", just like me...)

Hi Elizabeth from your clueless aunt!
Don't worry about not missing me DrParsnip, you are keeping very busy and having so much fun! The kids and I are really enjoying reading about your adventures while learning about geography and customs at the same time.
