For me, one idea is to drop the website option in the profile section. That way if someone is interested, you must PM that person to get the info you need, not just blalant advertising. Also if no ones actively posting for, say, 60-90 days, your name will dropped, something to that effect.

Actually, I love those two particular blogs. They are VERY surreal...
I don't think theyt are spam sites, just very off-beat and creative. Read one of them, they are NOT for real, more like "for surreal". The two blogs (and two Member names) appear to be the same person though, and that's a no-no. But we really haven't posted any formal "rules" here yet, so you can't hold that against him/her/them yet either.
As for Members who don't post, I wouldn't worry about it. We had over 50 non-posting Members at the Ol' Corral, some of whom eventually had something to say, many who did not. Some people just like to lurk and read. No harm done.
But let Hoss check it out and give his verdict.

Well the first step is to stop people from auto registering which is a problem on this brand of message boards. It's really not "software" I reckon, it was just the first thing that came to mind. It's more of an authentication tool.
