Hi all.

Still wanting to clear out a bunch more comics in my over-crowded comic room, I'm thinking of selling off my BRAVE AND BOLD collection.

Here's the run-down....
They are all NM/M from #101 up to #200 (except for seven of them which are VF).
They are all at least VF up to NM from #64 to #100 (except for seven more of them which are below VF).
The balance are mostly from FINE to lower grade (with the odd high grade one) as follows....#37, 42, 45, 46, 49-53, 55, 57-63.
Yeah, I know, the first Teen Titans and the first JLA isn't there, curses!

The Commerce Grad in me did a quick number-crunch using the 2006 OPG and their value according to OPG is $3,288.00 for the lot.

So I'm thinking of possibly posting an eBay auction for the lot using many clickable thumb-nail scans (for the key books) linked to PhotoBucket, starting the bidding at, say, $650.00 USD or 20% of OPG.
I'm not a fan of reserve price auctions so I don't want to do that.

What do you think of my using those extra eBay features for this auction like the BOLD feature or the one that will put this auction at the top of searches, etc. which I think costs $20?

How would you sell these?[/b]

Ask Hoss or CG to use their cross-ad on their Ebay auctions. Chances are you'll increases your exposure to more potential buyers. They still do it on their auctions.

I can chip in a coverless 1st appearance of the Teen Titans if it's any help. I would sell them in a story for $16 a month and 3c a posting including a thumbnail for 1c plain.

Put up a few key issues on 10c posting day and use those to draft in more interest. Problem is it takes time to build up a following.

Your own personal website works better but I have no idea how to do that.
