Who is going to Dragon*Con in Atlanta, GA this Year? If you do will you be going for working/selling or for pleasure?

I'll be there and it's for pleasure in my case.

I may go. I have never been before, but in the next few months I will be moving to Atlanta so that will make things a lot easier. George Romero will be a guest, so that would probably almost be worth the ticket price alone.

That is the plan. It seems like I either have to come up with a brilliant idea and start my own business or find a larger company to really put it to use. I had been looking around here, but there just isn't anything for me. So I set my sights on Atlanta and started looking two weeks ago. I have already had one interview, but it wasn't what I was looking for. So the plan is to have a job in the next month or so and have some money saved up to be able to get an apartment when my lease here runs out in August. I can stay with a friend during the week until then when I find a position.

It is going to be a little strange moving to a larger city after having lived in a rural college town for the past several years.

Will, I got a "Progress Report" in the mail today from Dragon*Con, which has a list of who all is going to be there and what all is going to be going on in the 4 days of the con.

It's not a comic, it's the booklet that Dragon*Con sent to us to keep us in the loop. I got one and so did Arthur.

Hey Linda,

I am now living in Atlanta, but it is just in a temporary place until I can find an apartment. However, I will not be able to go to Dragon Con this year. I have to go out of town for a wedding. Just thought I would give you a heads up.

Also I just checked the website and Christopher Judge has Cancelled AGAIN! And just three days before it starts. He did the same thing last year too. I don't know why he even puts in that he will be here or that the folks at Dragon*Con keeps asking him to come. The man can't be trusted!! :evil:

Well, I'm back home and we had a super great time at Dragon*Con this year.

I was able to pick up a bunch of Superman comics for .50 each so now I'm working on putting them in my boxes and on updating my list.

I'm be posting pics later this week so keep an eye out!
