Hmmmm.....well that's one way to go. Me? I'd probably scream like a little girl and run in terror if I ever saw one up close!

Apparently that's the only way to survive if a gator has you and is taking you into the water....IF YOU'RE ABLE TO...stick your hand down it's throat and it will gag, opening it's throat and swallowing water and thus release you.....for a moment SWIM SWIM SWIM!!! Much like guaging a shark's eye's or punching it in the snout....good luck on both of these though.

You can't see it in the picture, but I have a leather strip that goes around my hat that holds alligator teeth.

I was walking my pet raccoon, Earl, and a gator tried to sell me directions for $3.00. I said "Gator, you git-on outta here." Unfortunately, he didn't leave and the situation escalated. Next thing I know I have a new wallet, belt, boots, and a cool hat. I never knew raccoons could fight so well.

Next time I will tell you about how I got my coonskin hat.

That's a huge beast there. Kinda like "Lake Placid" but it's alligator on steriods. There's rumors going around about people putting baby alligators in lake around Durham/Raleigh, NC. Wildlife officals has to keep getting those babies out of the lakes since people uses them so much. I wouldn't go there anyways. If I see one chasing me, I'll shoot it down.

Oh MG, are you a "Card-carrying Good Guy"? Which means do you have a permit and do you carry a gun? Because unless you have a gun with you at all times you never know when an "old gator" might get you!!

Who says 'gators are only in the south. Here's a story about one found in Ludington, Michigan a couple weeks ago. It was a former "pet" of course, I hope the owner goes to jail.

I'm with you, clueless!! I don't think it should just be "a misdemeanor" to try and kill a pet!!

If I had it my way animal/children cruelty and terrorism should be dealt with in the manor they were done. ie. I would love to smash this guy in the head with a hammer so he knows how it feels. I hate bullies!!! :x :x
