:D Yay I have a week with no work! I had to use or lose this week of time so I am taking it easy for a week. No more verbal abuse from irate debtors!! For a week anyway...

This will free me up this weekend for a major listing spree for my store, but even better for you guys, starting on monday I will begin some much needed housekeeping here!

I'll finally have time to start some of these long delayed promised upgrades. The first things I'm tackling are the spelling check and the smilies upgrade. <---- I think we will keep this one since CG likes it so much. Another thing I want to do is add an "view "x" new topics since last visit. LMK if there are any other things I am forgetting off the top of my head.

Of course it's not all work and no play for me...I'll be catching up on some of these theads I have been missing and starting up some nice new threads about things I like! I know I have been very very scarce lately and that is something I am changing (for this week at least). It really stinks that there are not 30 to 45 hours in a single day.

Anyway, I'll keep you posted on the upgrades and I'm apologizing in advance if there is any unexpected downtime in the next couple of days. I keep a daily backup of the forum so in case I REALLY foul something up we can restore it with no problemos!

There are still a few vistitors to the old corral each day, but I am cleaning my photobucket files to make room for the new smilies here that the old smilies at the old corral will be going bye bye. At some point or another that old forum will be closed permanently so make sure that you are posting here (CG and IM and JDB).

Thanks everyone and I'm looking forward to a great week here!

Make sure you take at least one day to do as close to absolutely nothing as possible, unless it's a leisure activity that gives you pure enjoyment. It's very refreshing to have a "nothing" day every once in a while!

Thanks for the advice Gall, I hope to be able to squeeze some relaxation in as well. For the most part this will be a non-vacation vacation since I have so much to do! I can always find a great distraction, especially if I am sorting thru comics. Usually I end up reading when I should be working.

The feature where you are able to view the 10 most recent posts was a good one. Hope you can swing that one.

Hoss, I hope you enjoy your "working" vacation and perhaps do some things (not involving the computer) that you may not get the time to do otherwise.

Yeah, I have a few non indoor things. I'm still gathering rocks from granny's goat pasture for our gardens and pathways. Nothing like backbreaking labor to save a few bucks! Additionally, I am filling empty feed sacks with goat manure for our gardens...that's really exciting. The goats are pretty cute, especially the babies. Of course I have been blindsided by a few goats headbutting me into the dirt. $&#*$! The weather has been slightly cooler lately, but it stinks (lol) working outside when it is in the 100's!

For the most part I enjoy listing comics (as sidetracked as I can get!) but there is always time for fun like chilling out with Heather and chasing the cats and dogs around the house! I actually feel bad that my time here has been so limited these last few months...I'm definately missing out on my corral time!

Loading up the manure is an awesome job considering the fruitful results it produces. I used to load up chicken manure on a wheelbarrow and spread it around the watermelons and pumpkins. Ahhh, good times!

Hmmph...you think my manure is bad?

Try some of that "feed" you're giving me...go ahead, try it!

See if you don't get square pupils too!

I am envious! My move starts in ernest tomorrow!

Wish me luck!

I seem to remember that on Bonanza Hoss was named that because it means a good man!

My Norwegan friend says it means luck!

Thanks for the good wishes! I had a great vacation...not as much work as I would have liked, but I have all this week back at the job to torment myself over it! It was a nice time, and it did go by fast but it was nice to be back at work too. I have another week coming later this summer, so at least I have something to look forward to!

You do know that the Bonanza theme does have words to it. One of the regulars at Cheers (not Cliff) sang it to Norm in one episode! Four for One , One For Four, we're all family!

Speaking of goats, South Park last night was a rerun of the classic Afghanistan goat / Stevie Nix episode. A true classic. I'm off on vacation tomorrow myself, Lake Tahoe through the weekend. Woohoo!
