View Full Version : Dragon*Con for 2008..booking hotel rooms

Hi Guys,

I know I'm really early for this con but I just got word that Alabama and Clemson will be playing at the GA Dome on August 30, and apparently the sports fans have learned they can call the con hotels and claim they are coming for DragonCon and get the con rate for a room and they are going FAST.

So the reason I'm posting this is if you are planning to come to Atlanta for Dragon Con and you are going to need a room you better call now and book it!

That's not right, some organizer needs to check with the hotels that give rates for the con needs some kind of proof such as tickets, comics shirts, Trekkies, etc...

Dragon Con is so totaly messed up. I mean it is MESSED UP on so many levels. Yet I love it. (shrug)

Are you going to Dragon Con this year? We are booked at the Marriott Marquis this year.

As of right now, I've decided to take this year off. Dragon Con is one Hell of a party Con. A great time to be had, and then some. But finances say I should gracefully bow out of 08's Atlanta getaway. Hero Con in Charlotte will more than likely be my only Con this year.

I'm sure you'll have a blast.

Oh I always have a great time.

BTW I will be going to Hero Con this year too. They are the only two I will be going to this year.
