I have this Captain America #241 reprint that I got in a lot from a forum sale. There's this box in the corner with the swinging Todd McFarlane Spidey 30th Anniversary on it. Everything on the cover(price, etc..) looks just like the original except for the Spidey box. What I want to know is, where did this reprint come from?

Wow! I'm constantly amazed by these books.....looks like it might be a whole new "sub-set" for me to consider one day. :)

Thanks for the info, Habib.

So, I "borrowed" this scan from the STL forum to everyone to see.

So, how in the world did they come up with that selection? Talk about complete random picking.

Also, I'm surprised there aren't a bunch of eBay scams with the Young Men 25.

When I first saw the #241 in the lot with the hidden Spidey box, you would think it's the real deal.

A couple of years ago, I won this Captain America lot that had a #109 in it behind a group of books and when I got it, it was a Toy Biz reprint. There's just too many reprints that looks just like the originals.

They used monkeys. Had to be. :D

I've seen plenty of listings, but more often than not, it is misinformed people rather than scammers.

That's half the reason we do what we do at Stl. We are trying to help everyone figure out what they actually have. #oldie#
