Howdy all.
I'm planning on listing a run of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN from the Silver Age to present.
The books from #30 up to about #170 or so are of the VG (4.0) to FINE (6.0) area...some worse, some better.
They start getting up into the VF (8.0) or better range from #170 up to #220.
Then from #220 all the way up to #548 (last week's release)...99% of them have been read once and stored away.

Question....how would you list these?
In lots of 5?
In lots of 10?
Maybe singling out books like #96, 97, 98, 121, 122, 129, 194, 200, 238, 252, 298 and 300?

I'll be including scans of the front and back covers of every book..at least the back covers up to #330 or so.
I may not scan back covers of any of the more recent books, would it be worth the time and effort?

Disclaimer: I've never sold anything (but that never stops me from having an opinion) :)

I don't know about more recent ones, but other than beaters, I would think listing everything from the 130's or so on back as singles is the way to go. Then you're catching people trying to fill holes. Otherwise, you get bids on say lots of 5 where the bidders are only placing a value, thus a bid price on 2 or 3 issues.

I would think I'm like most people. I have lots of needs, but most of them don't fall into 5 book sequences.

Camper,

Key issues - silver age - early bronze age I'd do single issue auctions either here on the board or where ever. every thing else I'd go 10 books per lot you stand to make more that way.

OR

You can do like I do here on the boards and list them at 50 cents or $ 1 and let them rip untill they sell.
Speaking of books I need to list some more...................

I'd list them singly up to about #180 then seperate out the keys you listed, 194, etc... and list them in small lots of 4 or 5 after that

If you can post a list and grade of the earlier ones up to #129, 135 or so I'd be interested and I'm sure others would as well...

I noticed that most of the books below #180 or so are less than FINE, some a lot less.
Thanks for the advice guys.

So far I've listed some WATCHMEN, some of my "less than 9.8" CGC BATMANs, a CGC 9.6 ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN 1 1st Print and a complete run of ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN from #1 to #118 including Annuals, Specials, 1/2 Wizard and #1 Variants.
The AMAZING SPIDER-MAN run will be listed in the next few days.
Take a look.
