View Full Version : The Incredible Hulk [Marvel Comics]
This is one of my favorite books of all time, as well as one of my favorite Must Read current titles.
The year-long Planet Hulk storyline is fantastic. It sure has breathed new life into the title! Writer Greg Pak takes the hulk off earth and onto a new world (thanks to the Illuminati) where the he finds himself forced into gladiator combat! Carlo Pagulayan provides the interior art which is very good, but the covers by Ladronn are fantastic!

The first story arc, "Exile" has just completed (issues #92-95) and part 2 begins this week!
If you haven't been reading this book, this is a great time to come aboard for some great comic action and adventure! The first four parts should be easy to find on eBay. Great stories like this one (and Annihilation) don't deserve to be lost in the Civil War frenzy~

Yes, The Planet Hulk storyline comes highly recommended. I'm waiting for the GS Hulk in the mail pretty soon. I have a feeling that somehow when Hulk comes back to earth, there'll be hell to pay. But who will kick his @$$, Thor? Thing? Maybe he'll be on the Anti-Act side?

Maybe he'll club Wanda the Scarlet Witch in the back of the head, causing a brain aneurysm which in turn will reduce all current and ex-mutants into look-alikes of Joe Quesada.

The Planet Hulk storyline is top notch!
This is the best this title has been in a long time.
Bravo to Greg Pak #clap#

Speaking of Planet Hulk, I used to read Hulk when I was younger. I remember seeing Hulk at a crossroads (in space?) and he is in love with a green skinned alien woman. Does anyone knows the issues number because I don't have those books. Planet Hulk has brought flashbacks to this story and I have totally forgot it. I believe that is one of the first comics that I've had to read really good. If memory serves me correctly, I think John Buscema was the artist.

When I got back into reading, I decided to check out ol' Greenskin to see what he's been up to. Planet Hulk, I wondered, what the heck is that.
But, this is one of the books that I have been looking forward to coming out each month. The waiting kills me, though, because this has been a good storyline and I just want to know what happens next. I can't wait for the conclusion so that I can go back and read it all in one sitting.

Yep. This is a very good read. Very worth buying and most of all READING!
I've been wanting to drop the Hulk from my pull list since the end of the Bruce Jones run (trying to save pennies). I have yet to drop it.
Oh, by the way, this story line is going to read great in a hard cover!

The green skinned woman was Jarella. She was from an atomic world (they shrunk old Hulkie way down).
She 1st appeared in Hulk #140 was in a couple more issues in the mid 100's and then was in a storyline from 202-205 or so.
One of those is probably the one you remember MG.
It's the first ever Hulk 100th issue! Planet Hulk just keeps getting better!
I also enjoyed the Planet Cho back up story (How'd they get the Civil War into this title! ) It looks like they are beginning to plan out the return of the Hulk to Earth. He's going to be super pissed!
The reprint of Hulk #152 was also a good read.
Ok, So I just finished #105. After a great run, the awesome Planet Hulk storyline comes to an end! :(
The good news is the ass kicking is about to begin with World War Hulk!
I can't wait for this next saga to begin next month!
