This new company is coming out with the first issue of Devi #1 on 7/6/06. I have this new freebie that my LCS passed out last week. It has info about Virgin Comics. I haven't look at it yet. I was wondering if anyone is going to buy the books from them?

It wasn't that bad, actually.
Without being a spoiler, let me say the character is based upon India legend/mythos. Sort of like a Spectre or Ghost Rider...kinda, sorta....
I enjoyed the Freebie.
The character has potential.

And yes, I'll most likely pick up #1.

My bad, I was wrong, in this Virgin #0 that I was reading, Devi will come out July 12th. I was looking thru the future releases, one of the new titles will have Garth Ennis in a book called 7 Brothers and another book with a Alex Ross cover. They will also have a surprise star to be announced later. It looks like they are shaping up to be force to be reckoned with.
