Seriously, I'm not gloating. Just surprised.
Please feel free to speak your mind, but I don't expect that you'll be allowed to hang around for very long.
But I would love to hear what you have to say, even though I really must go to sleep pretty durn soon.
Let's leave the phones open here for a while though Hoss, I do look forward to his comments.

Hello Soren. Why woudnt I be allowed to hang around for long? I would think people would want to hear the other side of the story. I tried that on the CGC forum but I was banned as shill which was not the truth.

It sem that I cant win. The most inocent of things is given negative spins. If I use a scanner, the CGC forum hates that. If I use digita photos, they hate that even more and muse why Im not using a scanner. Then they say why am I hiding the labels, meanwhile theres multiple closeups of the label in links in my listing. At one point they complained that I never sell CGC comics. How come none of my raw 9.6 comics are CGC. Then I put up a AF15 CGC 9.6 an they complain about that too. Bad picture. No car label picture which isn't true. Its frustrating.

Let's put it this way: we suspect that you have had a previous incarnation here, and were previously banned.
If that is not the case, then we would be happy to hear from you for as long as you would like to hang around.
If it is the case, then you have a short window (probably as short as this weekend).
But either way, I am (we are) more than happy to let you speak your piece if you would like to.

I can understand that.
Selling on Feebay is frustrating in the best of circumstances.
Maybe you shouldn't let a couple of negatives from one fruitloop get you down so much.
As for the CGC buzz (yes, with some input from yours truly), I wouldn't let that get you down either.
It has to be a royal pain in the ass to have people watching your every book and every sale.

Im not suprised either. I knew that after Feb 20th the CGC forum members would come out of he woodwork and bombard me with nonsense intentional negs. They openly threatened doing that on the CGC Forum.
Amerweb is the guy that issued me two negs for no reason. He keeps another eBay account for that. Just look at all the negs he dishes out with his Micromonopoly account. Then take a look at his followups. He did the same thing to me to others that he had it in for. And yes, I found out that he did have a beef at some time in the past with Comickeys so he read into CGC Forum folly and took that out on me. Its obvious what your intentions are when you start a buyer dispute with paypal while usps tracking shows that he didnt even receive the package yet. Then when he realized he couldnt keep thecomic and get his money back he gave paypal a nonexisting tracking number. Then when I finally do get the comic back and he gets his refund he gives me a negative for wasting his time by selling him a restored comic that was restored. He never said anything about being dipleased ith the SS #4. That was jst his icing on the premeditated cake. And two can play that game.

I dont care if they watch, but someof the comments are nutz. I remember reading where you watched my listings for months looking for source and found none at all. I have no problem with that. Now, every comic I sell somebody says Look- heres th comic befoe he id this and that to it. Then they point to some comic I never saw before like the Spiderman 18 that I owned for years. Do they really believe that theres only one spiderman 18? Or only one of every comic I sell? What am I trying to pull? What frauds am I trying to perpetatrate? Im tring to do all these felonious things in plain sight with the entire hobby having me under a microscope? Im tryig to do the opposite and for them to think otherwise is stupid.

I did check out his feedback closely.
Thus my calling the guy a "fruitloop".
And Feebay's "new and improved" feedback policy doesn't make life any easier, does it?
But the SS #4 aside, what really came down after auction's end regarding the AF #15?
That is the same book you have running now, isn't it?

Granted, there are more than one or two high grade copies of any given silver age book floating around.
But I have seen numerous instances of your books being relisted.
My assuption is that this is due to amicable returns.

Yes it is. And I was trying to pul the wool over anyones eyes Iwould have held it back for a year and relisted it ithout diclosing trim. That wasnt my intention. The buyers stated in his paypal dispute that it was trimmed before he received the comic. Th customer is always right in my book. Even though Im not 100% sure on this one, theres overhang, and the comic sizes when held next to other marvels from the same month, I relisted it as trimmed to be on the safe side. In every one of my restoed listings Im going to state that there may be a chane that the comic is trimmed even if im sure it isnt to prevent repeat performance of this nonsense. The SS #4 was graded VF becaue of a wrinke on the back cover. It was better than VF aside from the wrinkle. My buyer never asked for specific flaws on the SS #4 and never said he wasnt happy. I didn't hide the wrinkle. I factored them into the overall grade.

No. Truthfuly, when someone doesnt follow through its usually because they were contacted by someone from the CGC forums and told they would be stupid to pay for it. Some of my very pleased buyers, buyers who have had their wins perform very well at CGC have received these Forum warnings that have detered others, ignored their warnings knowing they are BS and then shared the corespondance with me. Some have aleady received eBay warnings about spamming. There were few legitimate returns but no more I imagine than any other seller of raw comics. Not everybody grades the same.

In all fairness, Ive relisted comics the same week. A buyer couldn't have possibly had the time to pay for it, get it, and send it back. SOme of them theyve won and told me outright that they werent goin to pay for it becaue they were contacted by someone who they cant reveal.

Thanks for clearing that up.
I understand that it is better to be safe than sorry.
But let me ask you this: with a book of this caliber, and with the track record of similar books (including other AF 15s), wouldn't you be in the best postition to determine beforehand (on the first auction), whether the book had been trimmed or not?
Bottom line: Did you spot the trim the first time and withhold that information?

Just for the record, personally, I have not contacted any of your buyers, other than the two instances (almost a year ago) that we discussed previously.
But it is understandable that some of the "CGC witchhunters" may have done so in the interum.
Do you have any proof of such auction interferance?
If so, did you contact Feebay to file a complaint?

The main thing is the way these Robojo stories get twisted and then retwisted again even further from the facts. You have a seller Silver age that sold NYMotordude comics. One was a NM Submariner #1. I as accused of being John, the NYMotordude and reselling this NM comic as a NM/MT. I did no such thing. The comic I listed on eBay, which was not purchased from NYMotordude, which might or might not have been the same comic was listed by me as NM to NM+. Not NM/MT. I had already listed and sold one the month before as NM/MT. There are more han 1 od each of these comics. Thats why theres a census. I bought a small group of raw comics from a Long Island seller and the Sub 1 was among them. I didnt buy anything from John who is very recognized and well known fellow from the big tri-state car shows. Hes also no longer interested in thi hobby courteousy of the CGC forums who profess to promote collecting.
After talking to John, Ill share some info with you about Silver age who made these accusations about my being John. The Daredevil #7 that he sold John Skarvelis as an unrestored VF has indisclosed restoration on it. The one doing the accusing is guilty of doing what he accuses. There was a piece replaced on the bottom corner of the back cover and then part of the edge of that corner was trimmed to make the piece not jut out. But you can easily see the piece at the right angle and se the seam where glue was applied to tack it in place. John found it whie cataloging his comics log after he left positive feedback nd now I own the comic and will post a scan if anyone would lik to see it for themselves.

I tried to speak up or myself on the CGC forums and was wrongfully banned as a shill, even though I know there must be ways for their administator to know that was my first time there. I didnt attack anyone and trid to answer everyones questions and address some of the silly preconceptions and I got banned for that. I had also posted on the eBay chat boards but had my posts removed by eBay and got a warning from them about possible suspensions that as a seller scared me off.

Here are two scans of the back cover of the Daredevil 7 in unrestored VFN+ that Motor Dude won from Silver Age on eBay. Not the Silver Age from Astoria. The Silver age that everyone was patting on his back for 'exposing' John Skarvels as me. No mention was made of he corner being reglued on and the edge being shaved.

I dont proofread and correct unless its an important document. What do you think of that DD 7 the whistleblower sent John ? Acceptible because Im supposed to be John too ?
You are not John Skarvelis and I think he might be sorry he let you use his E-bay account . He is a real person you used as a front just like Richard Koos . Koos however , loves you like a son. Silver Age in Astoria might fall in the middle of those two extremes. You think way too much of your ability to misdirect the conversation or you just don't got it like you used to. Bobdjukic sells records and has many similarties in his business model to certain comic book dealers. Do you know him? Hi Hoss!

Why would I know Bobdjukic? Or any other random eBay seller? I dont buy or sell records. As far as Richard Koos & John Skarvelis, it appears that you know alot more about them & their intimate feelings than I do. You must talk to them often. I dont. I only mentioned Silver age because I know how interested everyone is when a seller sends out a restored comic as unrestored. I thought it was ironic that the one blowing whistles pulled something like that on John. I was the only one who thought so in a myopic hobby attributing every evil to one whipping boy.

Johns seller was not the Silver age of Astoria. The Silver age I refered to is the one who started the thread on the CGC forum saying that John was me. eBay seller the_silver-age. Silver Age Comics is the seller from Astoria.
Item 330196673106 had no menton made of the repair on the back cover or the three tears. "Back cover is clean". The $290.22 purchase price was about 4 times what it was worth. Do you think he would offer a refund to John? John never saw it before he left positive feedback and added the seller to his favorite list according to the fedback he left.

Your time here is done (again).
I am banning you (again).
This is not so much out of spite or any personal preference or bias, but simply to spare our Corral Members more of the same and to avoid the same nonsense all over again with a different posting ID.
And all "three of you", or how ever many there are of you, are done posting here. Reason for banning: "Egregious scamming via undisclosed restoration and trimming."
For what it's worth, I will be posting a bit of a summation of my experiences with dealing with "all three of you" both here and on the CGC boards for anybody who is interested.
For all Corrral Members: Thanks for putting up with him (and me) over his first prolonged stay and this brief self-ill-advised second stay.

Hey DiceX!
Habib is correct.
At 9:30 EST tonight, AceVentura will be banned (again), never to return to The Corral.
Habib is also right in that there is a hell of a lot more of interest here than "The DD Show".
I'll have more to say regarding Ace's one week return and the TEC27 Fiasco on the TEC27 Thread shortly.
I hope you hang around because this is a fun place with good folks and great comic fans. Make yourself at home.

In the first instance since being banned at the CGC Forum, I feel the need to address something that is being said about me over there.
Or should I say, something that someone says I said...:?
Regarding the hearsay that I said that "the two comic books that I purchased froom Perry (Robojo33) came back restored"....
This is not true. I said that one was hammered, and well below the stated grade. I received an immediate refund for this book via PayPal and despite my offer to return the book, he told me to keep it. I sold it about a month ago in a low-grade FF lot I had up on Feebay. Perry sold it as a VF- I believe, I called it a G/VG due to some rather severe spine chipping and brittleness to the spine.
As for the other book. I still have it. And I do not want to offer my opinion of whether or not it has been restored at this time. Nor have I ever offered such an opinion in any public Forum. I may do so eventually, but not anytime soon.
Thanks and best regards,
C.G.
