Bad news here for Smallville fans. Series writers Al Gough and Mark Millar are calling it quits after the current season. Reportedly, the eighth and likely final season will be written by manatees using idea balls. :?

It's sad to see them go but I hope they do some future work in films like they did Spider-Man 2.
