View Full Version : The Magazine thread
Hi guys, didn't see any Magazine threads and didn't know if anybody wanted to post any, but here goes. I recently picked got one that I had had as a kid.

This book disturbed me (Jokes aside  ) because it contained some abusive father tones. I lived a pretty sheltered life and didn't really relate to the troubles that this boy in the story endured but I remember feeling empathy for the fictional character.

I don't know what ever happened to my book, but many years later I find it at a garage sale. (probably not my original copy...but you understand).
Here's some more insides. I thought it was great as many mags weren't in color.

It still kind of disturbs me to see this after all of these years.
The boy in the story meets Banner.

AndyBetty and Veronica images were just some I found randomly. I was looking for expressions similar to those when searching.
As for the Shocked Robin, well BlowUpTheMoon will have to answer that.

Ang, those are AWESOME? If I'd a known you had those, a box might have gotten "misplaced" for a month after you moved so I could read them... :D
And I agree with Mica "Giant Poster of the Occult World!" Seems like a lot to fit on one poster. Must really be Giant!!

Here's one from 1962. The odd thing about this magazine is that it only has one ad (aside from the house ads). A full page ad for a coin catalogue. "REWARD $9,985.50 for this coin!" "Stop spending pocket change worth hundreds of dollar."
