Welcome everyone to the first set of forums dedicated solely to a discussion of, the dissemination of information about Golden Age Comic Book Pedigrees.
The desire for info about these special collections of books has been growing, along with the increasing popularity of the books, especially with the forthcoming Golden Age Volume of the new Pedigree Book, which hopefully see print this year.
What we hope to do here is gather information into one place about the origins of the leading pedigree collections, including what it takes for a collection to be considered a pedigree. These two terms, collection and pedigree are used interchangeably and incorrectly. All pedigrees are collections, but not all collections are pedigrees.
Ideally, we'd like to have separate threads dedicated to the individual pedigrees, along with some general discussion threads. The aim here is education and civil discussion. But differences of opinion are encouraged. I myself am more knowledgeable about SA peds, so I'm counting on you Golden Age experts to get the ball rolling!
So post your peds, ask your questions, and off we go!
Best, Red
