I'll be heading to the Paradise Toronto Comicon July 12-13 2008. I'm excited about this show as the selection of books is usually outstanding compared to other local shows. Guests include Herb Trimpe, Joseph Michael Linsner, and Greg Land. (Tons of others too-- I'm excited about Billy Tucci particularly)

Thought I'd post now so people could start booking rooms if they're interested. The con will be at the Holiday Inn 270 King St W Toronto

If you go post up-- maybe we can do lunch or if I have another collectors group meeting you can stop in and say hello.

I'll do my best to attend this show, hopefully I can scoot by the Saturday, but usually I'm only able to go on Sundays. If I see you Rob, I'll say hi.

Yeah I hope to bump into you there at the least. If you have a couple free minutes I'd really like you to school me on war books.

I'll be at the Blue Jays/Yankees game on Sunday July 13th just a few blocks from the Comicon so I should be able to swing in on Saturday or before the game on Sunday.
I'll finally get to meet some of the people who post on these boards.

Sweet! I've been wanting to go to a Jays game for a while. I think I'll do it this season. Not on a con day, though. It's my favorite event of the year. (The newness of big local shows hasn't worn off for me yet. All the 'cons back home were really tiny comparatively.)

The closest city to me growing up was San Antonio, TX.

This one is "just over the pond" for me! I just booked 2-nights @ the Holiday Inn right on King St. and my lady and I are looking fwd to giving Toronto a good go!

Last year was my 1st Paradise-Con, so it was a lock for this year!

I'll crash the Con and she can take in a spa-day!
