It took me roughly 4 years to finally aquire this book.
After missing it on the Colmore website It appeared on Pedigree comics website and again I was to slow in pulling the trigger.

It finally re appeared 18 months later on E-bay & it was a case of 3rd time lucky for me.

Great books, Russ. That Combat Kelly is proof of my theory that if you wait long enough... you get another chance.

Agreed, Although each time it dissapeared my heart sank & each time thought that it would never be seen again. It is supprising how often certain books surface, especially certain Boston Pedigreed Captain America books.

Brother Power the Geek

What a wonderful, shambolic book, produced at the height of hippiedom in 1968.

A version of a "flower power" hero viewed through Joe Simon's (somewhat warped) prism.

Russ, if you haven't read this, do yourself a favour - I'll even lend you my copies (only ran 2 issues).

This is truly an example of "so bad they're good".

Just don't tell CG.

I heard that!#oldie#

And I've read both of 'em too...:D

Simon was one rather freaky individual, but it's obvious he didn't know what the heck to make of the Hippy movement. But then, who did?

Regardless, they're both great books.

Although only a place holder until the White Mountain shows up on the market which are graded identical, here is the Northland ASM #14, 1st Green Goblin.

Beautiful covers, AtlasFan. I don't have nearly enough Bronze horror and may have to do something about it.

Could anyone draw kids better than Adams? He (and the editors) must have known it too 'cos an awful lot of his horror covers had kids.

Adams. Wrightson, Kaluta. Doesn't get much better. Thanks for sharing.

I would keep this one. They may be graded identical but this one doesn't have the writing on the cover.

I asked Neal at a convention about all the kids that he drew on the DC horror covers. He said he patterned the kids after his own.
