OK Guys,
I collect "Superman: The Man of Steel", "The Adventures of Superman", "Superman V2". My question is I have a "Superman #653" and I need to know which series does it go in? I'm just now getting back into Superman and I can't figure it out!
Linda
The Superman title went back to the issue number vol 1 would have been on if it hadn't been canceled and changed to Adventures of Superman...so this issue would be filed somewhere after issue 423 of volume one.
I think that's what happened!
I hope that makes sense!

Not really, Hoss but when has DC or Marvel ever made sense when it comes to their comics! #joker#
Thanks,
Linda

Maybe this link better explains it. I knew that there was a reboot after Crisis on Infinite Earths. Currently, I can't remember how all the books went in order but this page helps.

Linda,
If you have a run of Adventures of Superman, then Superman #653 would fit in with the numbering from this series. Adventures of Superman began as Superman in the forties and ran thru issue number 423 after which the title was changed to Adventures of... with number 424, then the title was changed back to Superman with issue 650. Superman (volume two), which began with #1 in 1987, ended with #226 along with Wonder Woman (volume two) and Flash (volume two)...
It's reboot mania I tells ya!
