Who's going to the biggie... stormy, husky, brawling... the convention of the big shoulders?

I have my four-day ticket, and secrets says he might go down as well. Since I don't have room reservations and my usual accommodations are no longer available since my cousin has moved backed into my aunt's spare bedroom, we may end up commuting to San Diego from LA every day.

So if you're going, let me know and maybe we can meet there and go out on the patio for an $8 hot dog and $4 coke.

Hi Hank and Stace!

I had a great time. I've wanted to visit Italy, specifically Portofino, ever since I saw Enchanted April about 15 years ago. It's set in a beautiful, near mystical villa overlooking the Portofino. I made it, making this a pretty enchanted April for me.

Rome was big and crowded, and it was freaky to see a 2,000 Roman Empire monument across the square from McDonalds.

Venice was terrific, and even though it rained while I was there, it was cool just to walk through the narrow streets and take the water taxis around the islands.

And Santa Margherita Ligure - Portofino? Paradise on earth. Incredibly beautiful, serene, enchanting — and priced way, way out of my league, so there go my retirement plans.
