I don't follow. Are you referring to the series or fandom at large?

I'm talking about this series? Who liked it?

I liked it very much, I'm still waiting for #5 to come in the mail anyday now. They first appeared in Ultimate Fantastic Four #21 (am I right on the ish #?) by Millar and Greg Land. It was a three issue arc called "Crossover". I even liked that run and even the run after that. Right now, the current arc in UFF also deals with Marvel Zombie FF. Do you have the books? If so, did you like it?

No, I didn't have the books but I do have the UFF ones but only because it is part of that run. I'm not big on Zombies! I remember watching an old zombie movie when I was little and it scary (sp) me so bad I have never liked them. Then a friend took me to see "The Night of the Living Dead" and that just made it worst for me!!
Anyone else like them? Didn't we have a post about them over on the old corral?

I think they did have that discussion over there. The current UFF arc deals with the Zombies after the mini-series. It is pretty good, I think the Millar-Land run on UFF is one of the best comics Marvel is putting out now, but sadly the next is the last issue of the team's run.

I didn't mind it. The end kinda sucked, but I won't give it away in case you want to check it out. The art was decent. A lot of dialogue though. But I'm a huge zombie fan and not used to all the yapping. Think that's why I'm not big on the Walking Dead series. Same guy wrote Marvel Zombies I think? MG might know for sure.

You're right. Robert Kirkman wrote both series. He's staying pretty busy, I guess. He started on Ultimate X-men a few issues ago in addition to Walking Dead. Incidently, I liked Marvel Zombies. The story and art were good, and you've got to like the covers by Arthur Suydam.

I loved the whole series, UFF (Vol. 5 TPB) run and the mini. I'm one of the only ones who liked the ending, too I guess. There's a rumor of another mini.
EDIT: Zombies scare the mess outta me, but I love 'em.

I haven't read any yet, but I'm wondering if the interest has really died down. I was at my lcs last week and found #1 and #2 in the 25 cent bin, first printing. Weren't these going for much more when they first came out?

Yikes! That's a bargain if I ever heard one. Since the 2nd and 3rd printings has reduced demand, the prices on the 1st printings has been "normalized". I believe that if there was no extra printings at all on those books and more books like variants, 1:75 ratio books, etc.. the first printings on many books will make a seller/dealers day.
The Marvel Zombies #1 (1st printing) was going at around $15-$30. It stayed hot while the series is in progress. Now that it is over with multiple printings, it has cooled down.

People get silly with the prices they'll pay for comic books.
UFF #21-23 was going for 30+ a couple of months ago.
I said forget that. I'll get the TPB.
I'm not paying 10 dollars for any comic book.

It is coming out in HC first then in TPB format later.

I might actually pick up the HC.
I already have the mini and the lead in in TPB. I get the fall out in TPB when it comes out, too.
I've become a full fledged collector again. #creep#

I love Zombie stuff, and I'm a life long Marvel fan, so this series was a natural for me. The covers are great fun. I picked up one copy of each as they came out.
Kirkman's story was a fun read. I ordered the Hard Cover, because I've already read the series twice.
Good stuff, "IF" you like Zombies.
If you don't like Zombies, I really don't think you'll get much out of it.
