The Granite State Comicon returns to Manchester, NH for another great show on Sunday May 18th at the Center of New Hampshire Radisson at 700 Elm Street in downtown Manchester.

In addition to the dozens of great dealers from around New England Granitecon also features some of your favorite comic creators including: Ethan Van Sciver (who will be sketching for FREE!), Scott Kolins, Khoi Pham, Scott Wegener and a special appearance by Locke & Key's Joe Hill from 11-1! The artist alley will also be packed with many of the area's favorite local creators as well!

Fans in attendance at the show will also be able to participate in a silent auction, take in anime screenings, compete in a giant Hero Clix tournament for a Purple Pants Fing Fang Foom plus a huge Yu-Gi-Oh tournament, video game tournaments and more! There will be hourly raffles for boatloads of great prizes including movie passes and Iron Man goodies! Plus fans can also have their picture taken with their favorite Star Wars characters from the 501st Stormtrooper Legion including Jabba the Hutt!

The first 100 fans through the door will receive an exclusive Atomic Robo print! And don't miss our awesome freebies table featuring Iron Man, Indiana Jones, Hancock, Hellboy and DC goodies!

So New Hampshire is the Granite State? There used to be a bank out here in SoCal called Granite State Bank. My homeowners association had an account there so one day I called and asked which state was The Granite State. No one I talked to had any idea. "You mean it's not California?" (I actually knew already; I just like stirring the pot.)

New Hampshire is such a beautiful state I would love to attend this convention. Two years ago I could have; I was in New England for my niece's graduation from Amherst down in MA.
