View Full Version : Clerks II
Checked this one out on Saturday and I wasn't disapointed! I was really grossed out in places, but not too bad all in all. If you are a fan of the original Clerks, this one follows nicely.
This wasn't so popular in our town and there were only a few others in the theatre, but even with that handfull, the laughs kept coming.
Check it out if you have a liking for Kevin Smith movies or donkey love.

I just saw it and it was ok, but not that funny and the dance scene was too feel good reminisce for me.
The best thing about this movie is that Kevin Smith was not afraid to, as so many are, take a movie that did well and is a cult fav and bring it around again. I wish more people would make new daring movies that have to do with our old favorite characters. One I recently saw like that is
"Rumor Has It"
and I think it is poiniant that they mention Chinatown, because it's sequel was a daring sequel.
My simple point is too many sequels and not enough revisitations, if that makes any sense.
Too many movies trying to get to the end and not enough movies dealling with us just wanting see our favorite characters again.

How about Dogma II where Daredevil and Bourne try to quell the evil forces of Muses gone wild! We could even have them protecting the newest Last Zion, an eight-year-old girl who is trying to prevent the fall of mankind and the accendency of Robot Demons as told to them by Snapes!
Clerks was great I am looking forward to actually getting out of the house and seeing any movie without either the word "Potter" or "Hefalump" in the title.
