View Full Version : Can the session time out be changed?

It seems like it's timing me out before I can even finish a post. Granted I write half a book every time, but it seems like I'm getting logged off fairly quickly, like 20 minutes. Is it possible to change that setting in the admin on the back end? Or, is it something I can change in my user settings?

Thanks.

Hi alecholland,

Usually if you select the "remember me" option when you log in, you won't have the time out issues. I am working on getting that to be the default option when someone logs in.

If you already have selected the "remember me" option upon logging in, it's possible you may need to clear your browser cache including any cookies for the Comics Corral.

Please let me know if this doesn't help the problem.

OK, thanks. I'll try to remember to check the "remember me" checkbox when I log in.

Hoss, I had a hell of a time signing on last night. I kept getting the equivalent of a "busy" signal. Took forever for the home screen to appear. Is that something that effects everyone or is it a local isp thingie?

Honestly, I don't know RH. I think my $9.99 a month site hosting plan may have been showing it's quality. I know that there were a few folks having trouble accessing the site, but as to why, I couldn't tell you.

I'm really just flying by the seat of my pants here! :D
