Mr. Meyer was expelled for failure to cooperate in an investigation of perceived rule violations regarding disclosure, and repeated failure to properly display NOD logo. I learned first hand that NOD can be a bit clumsy handling situations like this. I for one am glad that Steve is here posting.

Since Showcase-4 was kicked out of NOD for #10, KWM might driving at the fact that Showcase-4 has not fulfilled the first quote?

(Good thing Showcase-4 didn't list anything unethical like ending an auction early b/c he didn't win another auction, he'd have no recourse)

I have just banned "KWM: The One and Only Voice of Reason" for posting personal information about a Corral Member (showcase-4) without this Members permission. There were also threats and trolling involved.

This is simply not acceptable here and KWM should have known this, having been a Member here for some time (though silent for some time as well).

Anyway, I'll take this opportunity to make clear to all of you great new Corral Members, that this kind of behavior, this kind of trolling is strictly prohibited.

We will not become a venue for personal flame wars and vendettas that began elsewhere.

And Doc? If you come back at me with one single wiseass comment regarding this? I'll ban your ass too.

I would like to state again that you are more than welcome here.

And I would like to say to all Corral Members that whether you have been here for three years or for three days, we will not stand by and have our Members harrassed.

If you feel that you are being Trolled or harrassed, let one of us Moderators know and we will either warn, suspend or outright ban anybody who is causing any kind of trouble for any Corral Member.

I did speak with KWM, and I consider KWM a friend, so this was extremely difficult for me.

There was no anger involved. If I have any anger, it is because I had no choice. A rule is a rule.

And this is a very clear rule we have here. If it is not clear to anybody, let me spell it out again:

If anybody makes known personal information about a Corral Member without that Member's permission, or makes any threats whatsoever towards a Corral Member, they are outta here. There need not be any kind of warning or discussion involved amongst the Moderators as this is a very firm rule.

And Trolling is also not acceptable. Trolling will be discussed openly and warnings and/or suspensions may be handed down (as you know). This is done after discussion with all available Moderators (and Hoss of course) and such warnings and suspensions are not taken lightly or handed out often. This is fine line territory.

And are Red and I bringing "CGC Garbage" on Board here? I don't think so.

I am proud and happy to have damn near every one (sorry Doc) of them here with us and I can't wait for more contributions from these people. I consider tham all as new friends. And I know that there are some serious collectors and very astute collectors who have joined us here in the last month or so. And I very much want them to stay and look forward to hearing what they have to say.

But we wont stand for any harrassment of long-term Corral Memebrs, so it is only fair that we not stand for harrassment and trolling of our new Members. Personally, I won't stand for it. In either scenario.

Everybody here is welcome to state their personal opinions. It is not expected that nobody is going to get hurt by what someone says. It happens. But when it devolves into trolling and flame wars, we will snuff it out before it has a chance to get started.

Look at it this way:

There have been almost 125 new Corral Members in the last month. Most of them CGC Boardies. The fact that a few flame wars and vendettas from the CGC world bleed over here really has little impact on who we are as a Forum. And I like to think that the vast majority of these new Members have the potential to bring up some fun and interesting insights into our hobby. Again, this potential, and this influx of new Members is something I really appreciate and enjoy. And I know that Hoss and the other Mods do too.

Let's not spoil it for them (the newbies) or for us (the vets) by making these rather petty and stale vendettas into something more than they are.

I much prefer to have fun in this joint.

In fact, I'm off to throw a word at the Change One Letter Game or maybe knock Vearn off his pedestal on Burger Time.
