I'm curious about HARLAN ELLISON'S DREAM CORRIDOR
and X-Man. I have many of the X-Man series, and am considering reading it, but the modern art looks kinda silly and I'm afraid it might be a waste of time.
Feel free to ask your questions about series you might want to read.

Anybody, any of you modern fans? I'm kinda assuming X-Man sucks and my friend told me that all of the stuff that happens in that series has been nullified in the new Marvel Universe.

IIRC the X-Man series was part of the Age of Apocalypse storyline/"event", where all of the X-books stopped being published for a few months and new titles temporarily took their place and reflected the new "reality" of an Apocalypse created universe. I don't remember the story much though. I think X-man focused on a version of Cable or a Cable-derived character, but I'm not sure. Hope this helps. :)

What does IIRC mean? It helps some, but did you read it? Was it any good? Thanks for the info though?
Anybody on that HARLAN ELLISON'S DREAM CORRIDOR?

IIRC = If I remember correctly
I had stopped reading the X-books around that time or shortly afterward. I probably read it at the time, but don't remember the story now. Sorry.

Thanks for the internet language lesson, I'd seen that one before, but didn't take the time to look it up. I'm guessing that since you didn't remember it, it's probably not that good. But I doubt I can sell it so I'll hold onto that run for now and maybe someone else will respond.
NEXT QUESTION
Does anyone know if the old Warren mag size Vampirella's are continuing sequential story or if they are individual stories. I'm building a little run to read and just want to know if I can start on them now and not be totally confused.

I have a few of those Vampirella mags and I believe they were all anthologies. In fact, Vampie generally appeared in only one story, and the rest were horror stories involving non-recurring characters. There were four or five different stories, each with different creators. There was no continuity to speak of.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know to try them out, although, as I guess most of you experience, in summer there is not enough time to read.
The last year of X-Man was a good read once Warren Ellis took over as creative consultant. It was a different take. That's really all of the series that I ever read though.
