I swung by my LCS yesterday and I was telling the guy how I liked 1985, a new series from Marvel that came out last week. He was telling me that the artist Tommy Lee Edwards lives somewhere around in town and he's a subscriber there. In the comics, he drew the LCS guy in which he's the same as the one in real life (no kidding). Also, the father and the son that is depicted there, that's Tommy and his son. The comics shop is the same one as the store I go to. Cool, huh?

AWESOME, MG! Man, that's even better than going old school and seeing your letter published!

I should check that one out!

I really liked the way the first issue ended. Seems to be more Millar goodness!!!

The first issue was interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing how the story progresses.
