For those of you that dont know this weekend is the Virtual Comic Con over at CGC starting right now and ending Sunday night. I have listed well over 500 books and at various prices as low as 3 for $1. Feel free peruse my inventory and others. I am on page 5 second seller down. While I specialize in mostly modern books you will find all types of sellers from GA and up this weekend with very good prices.
Thanx

Hmm..not familiar with the term. I seem to recall something in past about it.

Oh well, back to Ebay for me.#allhailme#

Basicallly about every 3 months CGC forum boards host an annual Virtual Comic Con. Sellers list their books with grades, prices and shipping. Bidders either buy, negotiate price or drool. It ends Sunday night. Sellers into GA and SA should find a very nice selection. Not as many modern sellers and I am selling off overstock and stuff I dont need anymore or want.

Uhm. I think he was joking...

So how's Hollywood these days?

Do you ever work on any Superhero movies?

I wish I was able to work on a superhero movie. Sadly, most of them get filmed in Canada (x-mens, FFs, etc.).

VCC is a great place to buy comics for cheap if you know where to look. I have gotten some good deals in the past.

I was going to get a booth but I won't ship out side the U.S

It is a good place to pick up deals if you've delt with the seller(s) in the past but I've noticed some of the items are way over priced.

That's not actually one of our guidelines... (The shipping outside the US part.) A surprising number of sales do happen to people outside the US currently though. (It's been like that for a couple of years now.)

The weak dollar = more foreign buyers.

I've found that foreign buyers are willing to pay the higher shipping charges as well.

I spent a few hours going from booth to booth and ended up sending out a few PMs. :)

"every 3 months CGC forum boards host an annual Virtual Comic Con"

Now why does this sentence strike me funny?

So far I have sold about 100 books for $50.00 or so. I cant complain gets rid of my overstock and reading material.

I never have enough time to get everything I am listing and I wont even go into loading up pics. I have forgotten how to do the thumbnail thing so all try to pick it up again today.

Yeah some stuff is overpriced, but alot isnt and is very reasonable almost a steal sometime depending on buyer point of view.

I've made a few purchases via the quarterly VCCs...but I don't get the best prices as I'm not part of the VCC elite...

Uncanny X-Men 141 in Fine for 33¢ was a steal.

You coulda had $5 for that if you'd put it in your store for six weeks!

Oh wait, was that one of the ToyBiz variants?

Bonehead,#poke#

#professor# It was one of the Toybiz variants. Believe it or not I still made a small profit on them. That UXM 141 is pretty common anyway. I listed a few in my store and have sold like I think about 4 of them with the Iron Man TOS being the most popular. (And no its not because of the movie anyone know why?)
