I just booked my rooms for the weekend and now I'm going to let go some books to help with the funding for gas and tickets to the show..

I'm hoping HOSS goes this year cause I'd like to meet up with him and any other forum members to shoot the sh*t about comics and put a face to the posts here on the boards..

Because I don't have a job & neither does my wife and all I have left in life are my worthless comics in hopes to pay for things I want to do.#oldie#

I am not a dealer. No. Wait, you mean comics? No not that either. I just go with a few guys from here in town. I try to talk Hoss into going every year and nothing. Maybe this time. Last year I got about 8 sketches and 50 or more books signed. It was cool. Marco Djurdjevic and Michael Lark were messing around with me. One of them drew a thought balloon with a heart in it, as if he was about to make out with a dude. I wasn't paying attention to it. When I went back the next day, they pointed at each other and laughed so I don't know who did it. But now it is my favorite cover. I actually keep in touch with a few of the creators and they are pretty cool and down to earth. These cons are great. My group squeezed out everything we could from the con. Last minute sketches and races for things we were putting off. I think some of the cooler people were Silvestri, Billy Tan, Greg Pak, Greg Horn and Humberto Ramos. Some of the jerks were Ethan Van Sciver, Joe Benitez and I think Arthur Suydam was a prima donna. I should post some pics. I have a good one of Michael Turner.

Red we need to get together at the show... I met Habib at chicago (really great guy) and would like to me some other board members.

Also maybe we both work hard to get Hoss to show up & do lunch or something !!

Give me a few more days on this. I am going through a divorce and I have to keep my stuff packed away and hidden for at least a week. I can only get online at work between customers cause I don't have my laptop.
But, on a lighter note, this site is pretty cool. Icouldn't ever find anyone to talk with about this stuff.
