I have all the issues so far. I'm waiting to get all of it so I can read it in one sitting. However, I liked the preview issue.
The Golden Age heroes is making a comeback these days, aren't they?
The Twelve is one example.

I'm doing the same thing with both these series.

I am getting both but I am about 3 months behind in visiting my LCS so I think I will wait and read them all at once.Dewayne's World is 45 miles away and my work hasn't taken my that way in awhile. Also waiting for 15 books to get back from cgc and I'll make one trip do it.
So far I like them both but I'll wait till the end to decide which is better.

Let's see if I can remember right.
A full run of Marvel 1602 that should come back at least 9.8/9.9(yeah right)
Vortex #1(1982,Ken Steacyy cover)
2 copies of Emma Frost #1
Thor #80
Return To Wonderland #1 Ebas Pussycat Dolls Variant cover(500 copies)
Robert E.Howard's Conan The Barbarian #1(1983)
Halle the Hooter's Girl #1(not signed)
Yep That's all for now.Went in with 3 other guys on an all modern shipment to help cut down on shipping costs and get a little discount.
I got 3 silver/bronze to send off when money gets better(if),a Journey into Mystery Annual #1 that is an error copy(pages out of sequence).A public service/drug comic"Hooked" from around 1966/67 and a totally beautiful Kid Colt Outlaw #130.
I'll post scans when they come in,should be any day now.

I read the first 2 issues and really liked them but then decided to wait for the series to end so I can read them all in one sitting.
These Ross/Kruger team ups seem best read that way.
Looking forward to the followup minis they've got planned as well.
Liked this more than I liked The Twelve. Might pick up the trade for Twelve when it comes out but it didn't really grab me enough to want to get the monthlies.

I'm liking the Project Superpowers series so far. I wasn't buying them off the stands originally, though. I picked up the #0 and 1-3 for $.50 a piece at the local comic show to read. I liked them enough that I bought the #4 that came out the other day. I will likely keep picking them up for at least the near future.

Well with both about 1/2 way through the run I have to give my vote to The 12.I find it to be very well written with great character development.Their reactions to the 'new' world are totally believeable and the art is also pretty good. This is one series I'll keep and read again in a few years.
Project Superpowers on the other hand is one I am finding hard to follow.Sub-par art doesn't help any either. It just seems like they don't really know where they are going with the plot.Shades of Miracleman. The Dynamic Family"? Give me a break. This is either a nod to Alan Moore of a poor rip-off.Even the Alex Ross covers are kinda weak.I will finish it just out of morbid curiousity and I can resale a full set eaiser than just a few issues.
just my 299 cents
