They are just as bad(but not as good) as old liars.

Thoughts?

I like David Lapham's stuff, but I'm burnt out on social drama comics. His Amy Racecar stuff in Stray Bullets wore me down. Young Liars looks like more of the same. I'm also tired of the rushed almost cartoon style of art. I miss his more serious stuff. If Rembrandt had not drawn serious paintings, would we remember him today? Lapham is too skilled to be wasting his effort on this stuff. He can do better art, I expect better.

I enjoyed Stray Bullets quite a bit until Lapham started to feature the Amy Racecar character. I disliked Amy Racecar a lot and dropped the series.

Previously, when Lapham took over the Harbinger series as writer, I was impressed with how good it was. I'm sure Jim Shooter coddled him along in the beginning but it was always a fine read with good character development.
