I picked up the first two parts of RIP in Batman. I couldn't follow it, so I gave up.

I'm not reading it.

Just wondering if it's a direct tie-in with Final Crisis since he's currently stuck in a torture device of some sort in that story.

Are they keeping that continuity together?

Does the doctor at Arkham have any resemblance to Professor Milo?
WTF is Bat-Mite doing at the end of the book? Those old crappy BATMAN stories with Bat-Mite, Bat-Hound, Bat-woman, Bat-stripper, etc from the 1960's were supposed to stay dead.

It is Grant's intent to bring the Silver Age feel to Batman. He did the same thing with The League of Batmen or whatever it is.
