I pretty much thought that everyone stopped reading/buying/collecting Spawn years ago...........BUT..........check out this auction.
Spawn #1 Black & White Special Edition (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=350077026674&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=022)
Auction has lots of watchers/hits and has been bid up to a decent amount! #banana1#
Does anyone still read this title?? If you do an update/summary as to what is happening would be geatly appreciated.......I haven't really looked at one of these for many a year......

I stopped buying Spawn around #40-50. Where's the heck is McFarlane's art in every issue? Not much to see there...

I've never read Spawn. I think the only Image book I've ever really gotten into is Walking Dead.

Only Image books I've read were: 1)1963,Allan Moore's homage to the Marvel universe, which was tepid 2) Wanted, which was excellant, and 3)The one Mage arc Image published ,great book but I'm not sure it qualifys as an image book.
I tried reading the original Wildcats but didn't finish the TPB I had.
Oops,I forgot Moores run on Supreme, which lived up to it's title. If you haven't read this,it has my highest recommendation. Especially if you are a 60s Superman fan.

I like indy books like IMAGE & TOP-COW and some others because it's new stuff and they don't ALWAYS retell a story over-over & over & over..gets old and I want to read fresh stuff, plus if you look at some of these image books they have very low print runs and have stood the test of time !!
LOL !!!

Hey razorz,Have you read Madam Mirage from Top Cow yet?
It's a pretty good story and the art is not horrible.Up to issue #6 so far.
P.S. If they do any variant covers for Madam Mirage, for WW Texas, current issues, could one of you nice people pick me up a copy?
Please????

The Alan Moore/Travis Charest run on Wildcats kicks ass.
