Last night my lady and I caught HB2: The Golden Army... we're both geeks, but we really liked it!

I thought the story was good, the martial arts-style action scenes and high-level swordplay battles were all excellent. It was also nice to see Abe take a more upfront role in this one and the introduction of Krauss was neat too. Overall, we thought it was really fun summer film, doing plenty to drive the Hellboy mythos and franchise, while having enough humor and action for everyone.

This one was a lot more over-the-top in the creepy character department, yet it was tied in well w/ the storyline. Clearly, the success of "Pan's Labyrinth" was eveident in the overall look and creature designs for this film.

I'd look fwd to HB3! Thoughts? Comments? Who likes popcorn...? #popcorn#

I haven't seen it yet. I might go this weekend, having a double treat with Bats and HB2 would be awesome.

Arthur and I went and saw it Sunday. Arthur said it was OK (what does he know!!), but I thought it was very good. I also like that Abe had a bigger part in this one. Was it me or was his costume/paint different than from the last movie?

I would love to see a HB3, of course I LOVE Ron Perlman!! You know that Vin Diesel was first thought of to play the part of Hellboy!! Can you see anyone else playing that part other than Ron, NOT ME!!

Wife and Mom-in-law and I saw it Monday night.

All thought it was great.

I'm partial to Guiermo del Toro (and i'm pretty sure I just murdered the spelling) so seeing the same style as Pan was great.

Loved Krauss, with two 'esses'.

Hellkid was kinda funny as well.

Nope, you're definately correct on that one, Linda. Abe was way more colorful and detailed in this one, and rightly so given his stronger role this time. :p

Wow, I did not know that! I agree, Pearlman has certainly made Hellboy "his" role.
