This could be good. The pencils in the Sketchbook look promising:

As for me, I'm not big on the rendition of The Dark Man or Stu though. But Nick and Franny are right on. Larry Underwood is close, but no cigar.

Has anybody checked this Preview out yet?

(Due out in the Fall/Winter of 2008, meaning, sometime in the next decade).

Dang. I thought this was going to be about Simon / Kirby.

I've read The Stand a couple of times, including that huge version with the extra pages from 1990 or so. I even liked the television mini-series, but for some reason the idea of seeing it in graphic form just doesn't do anything for me.

I got the Sketch Preview issue and the Marvel Previews issue in which it solicts. I like the art there, a change from the Dark Tower series. Nice. I'll get it for sure cause it's King, dude!

On the other hand, what other Stephen King stuff would you like to see in graphic form?

I've got a few of these as well & I don't read much Stephen King books BUT the art seems good if they keep it this way.. I won't spend the money on these series & I'll wait for MG to post his thoughts on it...LOL

This looks like it will be pretty good.I got completly confused with the Dark Tower adaption, probably because I never read the books first. The Stand I'm very familiar with so I'm looking forward to this one.
