I've tried to buy books listed on craigslist four times over the past couple years and each time I've ended up dealing with flaky/crazy folk

I suppose it's my bad luck but craigslist = stay away for me

I won't even try and list stuff on that site, I'd pay the fee on the bay before going their..

If it works for some people then great but I won't put my self in harms way to make a dollar & that site is just screaming "HURT ME PLEASE"

I have done very well selling on Craigs List. Last year,I had a guy come for $50 worth of books I'd listed. We got to talking and the deal expanded. First to $3,000 and then to an additional $60,000.That one,I took a number of precautions on.

Exactly! I was thinking that some people that sells some books from the 90's were part of the investor craze of the 90's, therefore dreks is bound to show up.
