Wizard World Chicago was great for us this year. Better sales than the last couple years.

Wizard staff said attendance was up from 56,000 last year to 58,000 this year. I don't believe this for a second. They must count everyone who walks out the door and back in every time. But whatever.....sales were better so I am happy (not happy about them raising table fees though).

I was able to pick up some cool Marvel Atlas stuff from the 1940's & 50's for very reasonable prices and I dug through the 50 cent boxes for some good bargains too!

Got to talk briefly with some good people from the ebay chat board. Always a pleasure.

You meet and see all kinds at these shows. One guy bought some Conan books and then proceeded to tell me about some guy who was his "teacher" who conquered 3/4ths of the known world thousands of years ago. He didn't mention how this guy was still alive after all this time. He also went on to tell me that the reason why humans are now mostly "hairless and beautiful" is because 45 thousand years ago aliens injected our ancestors with there DNA.......OOOOKay. At this point I was wishing I was not the one go over and take this dudes money for the books!!

I don't know if we had any other active Corral members who went to the show but if you did tell us your experiences!
