Hey Goofy

Welcome to the Corral. #hello#

To answer your question, no! I never found golf relaxing! LOL I think I swore more on the course than anywhere else. Been awhile though since I've been. Maybe I'll dig up a few clubs and hit the driving range!

Hey GL! Welcome to the Corral!

I am on a golf league but I don't know about relieving stress......I get p$ssed at myself when I make bad shots (which is 95% of the time) LOL

Hi Goofy Larissa,

Welcome to the Comics Corral!

I hope you have fun here and thanks for joining up.

As for golf, I have never played the game even one time. There's time yet, so maybe someday I'll get the chance!

Hi Goofy.
Yes, I play golf too (about 8 times a year) but I generally only play on company time (taking customers out golfing). Why do it on my time when I don't need to?!!!
Never use woods...just a 3, 5, 7 and 9-iron, pitching wedge and putter.
My game is awesome...until I hit the green.
My score rarely gets below the 100 mark as I usually 3-putt 2/3 of the holes.
The game is often called whack-f*ck up here!

Stress relief?
I'd sooner play hockey, I'm a heck of a lot better at hockey than golf.
Or fish. Nothing stressful about fishing.
In fact, I'd sooner drive a meat thermometer into my left ear with a balpeen hammer than play some of the awful golf games I've played!

Relieve stress? What's more frustrating than trying to get a small ball into a 4-inch cup hundreds of yards away? Tiger Woods I ain't. I think my blood pressure was much higher when I used to play. No thanks!

On the other hand, like Camper, I find fishing more relaxing. That is, if I'm not fishing with a particular friend. He always tries to outfish me, whether it's the biggest fish or the most. Me, I'm just happy if anybody catches anything.

"Golf is a good walk wasted..." - Mark Twain

Of course, any walk is typically enhanced when one is wasted.

Maybe that's what he meant...

Welcome Goofy!
