I'm apparently having a brain cramp on how to get my
thumbnails to post side by side.
Like this

and NOT like this

I'm wanting to list a giganzoramma of bronze age for sale
in the forum only section, but the listings are stacked up
and even when I edit things to tighten it up, the software still
makes the text and images stretch into a VERY tall column.
Help appreciated.
Phil

This came up on the CGC Boards: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2398080&fpart=1

It is a two page article and after a lot of funny (ho ho) stuff, the answer appears on page two as:

"you remove the space between the code for each thumbnail and then they will be side by side"

And/or

"Each picture has it's own line of code. you can either copy one line at a time and space them accordingly
1) with a space between each line to put them in a horizontal line or
2) paste a line of code, then hit enter and past a 2nd line of code on the next line below it.

Once you learn to recognize what a line of code looks like you'll be able to copy them all at once and arrange them quite easily...just think of each line of code representing a photograph and organizing them accordingly.

Does that make sense?"

This works for the CGC Board - the set up here seems similsr, so I can't see why it wouldn't work.

I haven't tried it, but everyone else seems to be happy.

Sorry duffster,
Doesn't appear to work here.
I've tried a multitude of ways, even having one huge very long
string of text copied and pasted from wordpad, and there is
still the image stacking, with a line, or in most cases, empty
lines in between.

Sure would tidy the ad I have up a bit. I'm a newbie on this
forum, and Hoss and the rest have been very helpful, so my
thanks goes out ahead of time.

I'm going to direct your concern about this to Hoss, he's the brains when it comes to such issues and I'll bet he can help you, if anyone can.

I don't think there is an easy way to accomplish this. I have tried several ways to make it work, but it always reverts back to the single column of images. I think this is a limitation with the forum software.
