...and it acquired a hint of Shaken-Slab Syndrome, what would you do?

If I had a six figure comic book, I'd sell that sucker so fast it would make the Flash say "what was that?"

If I had a six figure comic book, I'd sell that sucker so fast it would make Usain Bolt say "hey mon, that be smoking."

If I had a six figure comic book, I'd sell that sucker so fast it would make Michael Phelps say "whoa, duuuuude."

If I had a six figure comic book, I'd sell that sucker so fast it would make Jeff Gordon say "Well, the Dupont Chevy was awesome today, but not quite up to that guy selling the funny book."

Naw, Jeff Gordon would probably say "I was ready to get that six-figure book, but that other guy gave me a nasty bump that knocked me out of the way, instead of racing toe-to-toe with me like most of us agree to do. I'm not saying that's wrong, but he has to live with his own conscience."

Or:

Naw, The Charlton Guy would probably say "I was ready to get that six-figure book, but then I saw that the initial shipping from CGC to the submittor gave the book a subtle, but rather nasty bump to the lower right corner (thanks to poor inner well design) that knocked this six-figure book out of the way, from a 9.4 to a 9.367457908346, so instead of racing toe-to-toe with all of those other Showcase #4 CGC 9.4 graded slabs, let us agree, like most of us agree, that this book is now relegated to the bargain bin, to the tune of like...five-and-a-half figures. If I was selling this book, I would be sure to point out this obvious inner well pinch. I'm not saying that's right or wrong (what this seller is doing), but we all have to live with our own conscience."

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this book that a little pressing wouldn't fix. :D

I know a guy if you need to, you now, take some non-restorative measures . . . . .#poke#

Bang it with a hammer a couple of times and then lay the duct tape to the right front corner and it'll be as good as new.

I was going to suggest that but I didn't want anybody hurting their thumb or something.

I like that.

Did you ever think that CGC is in no hurry to redesign the slab ... in order to keep the press and resub business going?

Jeff Gordon....heh, what kind of name is "Jeff" for a race car driver?

Race car drivers should be named Junior, Axel or Speed....pathetic!

My two favorite drivers were Greg Sacks and Dick Trickle.

Disagree.

Borock stated last year he would pay for a better design. Though he stated this on the Boards, so he wasn't reaching too far.

Also, I would get that SCS pressed out, as if that book probably hasn't already had the **** pressed out of it.

As for Jeff, don't get me started on the "Rainbow Warrior". Ugh!

Dick Trickle is the best and he has that attitude in my opinion.
