Hi, I dug deep into the archives and pulled out this Silver Age DC 80 Page Giant #2 Jimmy Olsen from 1964 to offer to the list.

It's in solid VG condition and a very hard to find book. Most significant flaws are an "F" marked on the cover and a 3/4 inch split at the bottom of the spine. If anyone is interested at $40 shipped Priority mail in the USA let me know

Thanks for looking (even if you're not buying it's a pretty cool book that doesn't pop up every day!)

Dave is there a difference between the 80 page giants and regular series?

I'm not sure I get how these kinda books work..

The 80 page Giants were an outgrowth of the Annuals with a proposed Superman Annual becoming Number One. It looks like a nephew was hired to oversee the process and was given his own fiefdom to do it in instead of being vassal to whoever was editing that series, in this case Jimmy Olsen. Or so I remember.

They started out as their own series with 15 issues published on a irregular basis. After #15 DC started published "Giant" issues in the regular series like Batman, etc but also gave them a number in the "G" for 80 Page Giant. Batman #176 is also #G17
