I am psyched! #allhailme#
Please save two long-boxes worth of table space for me. I'm passing on a booth of my own, as my funky 100.000+ mile Taurus station wagon won't take the weight of a booth's worth of books.
I'll make it up in books and/or cash (as in the Uncanny's you are looking for).
And save some room on the floor of your hotel room. I'll have the Corrral Dancing Girls in tow! :D
JUSSSSSST kidding...I'm heading for a Motel 6 or something (on Friday night), but I'll check in with you late Friday at the hotel with beer and SA gems in tow.
Any other Corralers showing up at this cool event?

I tell ya Linda...talk about your Botox overloads!
Her lips looked like they had been through a blender. Like three or four times...and those boobs? Looked like over-inflated soccer balls...
WHAT A GREAT WEEKEND!
THANKS Habib, that was really fun and not at all stressful (except when I almost wiped by mayonaise covered fingers all over your on your new Avengers #1, that was very nice of you not to strangle me...).
You two went above and beyond to make me at home at your booth and my family and I really appreciate it.
I also appreciate the fact that I went home with about ten fewer long-boxes (my Ford Taurus station wagon thanks you too).
HABIB ROCKS!
Thanks again man. You da best!

Remarkably, I managed to NOT spend a single cent at the Con.
Amazing.
I was pretty much in full-blown selling mode.
But I did manage to swap three Byrne X-Men books for a very nice looking FF #55 (one of my favorite FF covers) and I got a Franklin Richards book signed by fellow Corral member and awesome artist Chris Eliopoulos and writer Marc Silvestri. Both very nice guys.
Joe Kubert was signing, but the line was at least 45 to 60 minutes long...
I took a look at several different FF #1s (Metropolis had five of them of course...), but perhaps the best deal on one was $1,900 for a very nice looking copy, looking for all the world like a VG+ to Fine except for a 1/2" by 3/8" corner chip on the bottom right. That was tempting.
The biggest surprise to me was the money people were plunking down for Deadpool and Wolverine books. I can't give these away in Western New York.

Deadpool has always get some cash for some reason. Maybe a cult following like Wolverine has. Speaking of Wolvie, I'm glad I've completed my set from his first mini to the Millar/McNiven arc now.
